-The best sides in Austin hands down. Make sure to pair your meal with a Dr. Pepper or, of course, a Lone Star.

*La Barbecue*

-Female-owned phenomenal bbq spot. This family comes from generations of pit masters. A great spot on the east side.

*Micklethwait Craft Meats*

-Named one of the 10 best bbq spots in TX for a reason. Another great east side spot.

Tex Mex

*Curra's Mexican Grill*

-Must get the avocado margaritas here.

*Joe's Bakery & Coffee Shop*

-An Austin institution! Prices are good, plates are loaded. Grab some pan dulce while you're there.

*Polvos (S 1st location)*

-Grab a pitcher of their famous margs, get their fajitas, prepare to adjust your belt another notch when you leave.

Other Austin Faves (Misc)

*Nixta Taqueria*

-Amazing taqueria with incredible tostadas with authentic blue corn tortillas.

*Canje*

-Some of the best Caribbean food. Get the roti.

*Kinda Tropical*

-Sesame chicken salad paired with yucca fries. Oooo la la. Grab a hazy IPA, sit on the patio.

*Perla's*

-Grab a dozen oysters, some champs, and enjoy the people watching that South Congress has to offer.

*Better Half Coffee & Cocktails*

-Great patio. We love going here for a brunch or a lazy afternoon slow drink sesher.
